Therapy That Meets You On the Couch, On a Screen, or Out in the Pasture- Where Life Actually Happens

Welcome to Unbridled Psychotherapy! Where you can stop trying to “hold it all together” and finally get the support you deserve.

If life feels heavy, confusing, or just a lot, you’re in the right place. Here, you’ll find a space to talk openly, feel genuinely heard, and start making sense of everything that’s been weighing you down. Noel Gladding, our licensed therapist, supports clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and parenting struggles, stress, and the everyday overwhelm of simply being human, using a blend of evidence-based cognitive and mind-body approaches tailored to you.

For those wanting something deeper than traditional talk therapy alone, we also offer equine-assisted psychotherapy. Horses are honest mirrors- tuning into your emotions, grounding you in the present moment, and helping you connect with parts of yourself that often get buried. Paired with proven therapeutic techniques, this work can be incredibly powerful and transformative.

Whether you’re facing burnout, heartbreak, trauma, or a desire to grow and feel like yourself again, our mission is simple: help you heal, help you grow, and help you build a life that feels meaningful and balanced.

Meet Unbridled Psychotherapy

About Me

Hello, I’m Noel Gladding, a cowgirl turned therapist with a deep love for people and the healing journey. I’m a Michigan-licensed Clinical Social Work Therapist (LLMSW) with nearly two decades of experience supporting adults, children, couples, and families.

My path has taken me from preschool teaching, to years in children’s services with MDHHS, to hospital and ER work, all grounded in a lifelong bond with horses. These experiences along with my own personal challenges shape the authenticity, empathy, and grounded presence I bring to therapy.

Horses have been part of my story since childhood, from showing my first pony, Sunny, to rodeoing with my heart horse, Cowboy. Their lessons in trust, resilience, and connection deeply influence how I show up with clients today.

What I Offer

I provide whole-person, client-centered therapy with several options to meet your comfort and needs:

Equine-assisted psychotherapy in the barn and outdoors

In-office therapy in Hastings, MI
Virtual sessions anywhere in Michigan

I work with adults, couples, and children, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, parenting, and relationship challenges. In equine-assisted therapy, the intuitive presence of horses offers real-time emotional insight, connection, and regulation creating deep opportunities for growth when combined with evidence-based modalities. In office or online, we can blend traditional talk therapy with somatic techniques for a more integrative healing experience.

Specialties

Every person and relationship carries its own story, which means therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I use a blend of evidence-based approaches to help you find a path that feels supportive, meaningful, and truly aligned with your needs, whether you’re seeking help for anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, trauma, or relationship challenges.

Approaches - Supporting Individuals

Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TI-CBT): Gently challenges unhelpful thoughts and patterns, enabling you to make lasting changes.

Psychodynamic Therapy: Helps uncover how past experiences may be shaping your present life and relationships.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Encourages mindfulness and living in alignment with your values.

Somatic Therapies: Connects mind and body to release stress and heal from trauma. Additionally, I offer equine-assisted psychotherapy, which can be a unique and effective way to support your healing journey.

Approaches - SupportingCouples & Families

Gottman Method Couples Therapy: Provides research-backed tools to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen connection, which can be especially beneficial for those also seeking anxiety and depression therapy.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): Helps couples feel safer, closer, and more understood by each other, fostering emotional bonds that can enhance overall well-being.

Family Systems Therapy: Supports families in finding healthier ways of relating and navigating challenges together, promoting a supportive environment for all members.

Ready to Start?

As your therapist, my role is to walk alongside you, whether you’re healing, growing, or strengthening your relationships. Together we’ll choose approaches that feel supportive, empowering, and create real, meaningful results.

If you feel drawn to this work, I’d love to connect by phone, text, email, or social media to explore whether we’re a good fit for your healing journey.

Pleach reach out if you have any questions or would like to schedule a complimentary consultation. We offer in-office and Telehealth sessions (BCBS and Priority Health accepted, HSA and private pay welcome). Equine sessions are private pay with sliding scale options available.
